Product Detail : Tender Notice for National Framework for Quick Commerce Last Mile Delivery.
Tender Detail : Background:
Under the project a national-level discussion platform is to be developed focused on standardizing procedures in the Quick Commerce last mile delivery sector, with a specific emphasis on road safety, decarbonization and improvement in women participation. India is currently undergoing an unparalleled digital transformation, marked by a significant shift of industries towards online operations. Notably, the E-Commerce sector has witnessed an extraordinary surge, particularly in the adoption of quick commerce models. The exponential growth of the Q-commerce sector, particularly in the domain of last-mile deliveries, has underscored the critical need for a comprehensive and forward-looking regulatory and policy framework addressing the challenges emerging with the rising demand of quick delivery and issues related to violation of traffic rules, road safety, increase in emissions and women inclusion and safety in the delivery gig economy.

Objectives:
i. To develop policy suggesting guidelines for last mile delivery in the Q-commerce industry addressing the challenges in transport sector.
ii. To develop city level guidelines based on the policy brief for one of the SUM-ACA partner cities.

Tasks of the assignment:
1. Preliminary Research and Stakeholder Identification:
2. Workshop Planning and Organization: Plan, organize, and execute 3 national level and 1 city level workshops, focusing on addressing the challenges w.r.t. the quick commerce last mile delivery identified during the research phase including agenda development, logistics, expert engagement, marketing, and documentation of findings for the creation of a policy.
3. Preparation of Policy for National level guidelines and City level guidelines
